9 months!

Wow, this pregnancy has FLOWN by! I am already 9 months pregnant...crazy! I had an appointment with my midwife yesterday, I am 50% effaced and 1 cm dilated! He has dropped, and she said he is on the smaller side, probably between 5 1/2-6 lbs right now! I am totally ok with a smaller baby, if you catch my drift! She also said that she thinks things are going to go pretty fast for me once they start, so we need to be in a bit of a hurry once full on labor starts! She also said it is unlikely that I will make it to my due date! I have thought he would come a couple weeks early this whole time, so that puts us out probably 2ish weeks! Ahhh, I can't wait! Today, I am going to finish putting all my bags and stuff in the car! Here is my 36 week picture!

8 months...

I am in my 8th month of pregnancy! I am SOOO glad it it almost over! I have decided that there is not really anything fun about the last 2 months of being pregnant! We are in the, pee every 5 seconds, contractions, baby running out of room, feeling so full you think you may explode, leg cramps, heartburn, exhaustion, yet can't really sleep phase! I know that all of this just means that it is getting closer to the day we get to meet our little Zeke! We have all of our baby gear, swing, car seat, all that good stuff now, so other than washing clothes and packing bags, we are ready! Next week I start going to my midwife every week! I can't believe we are there already! I got all my stuff in to have the water birth and just last night, we tested everything out to see how long it would take to get everything ready and make sure the pool didn't have any holes in it! I am also almost finished with the book my midwife gave me to help me prepare for a natural birth (since I have not done one before!), so I am really starting to feel ready and confident that I can do it! The last thing in his room to do is to hang 2 shelves, which we are doing tonight, so I will get the final pictures up soon! Here is my 32 week photo!

7 months!

I have officially entered my 3rd trimester! Crazy! I only have 12ish weeks before I meet my baby boy! I can't wait! I got my glucose test done today...have not heard back about it yet, but hopefully I passed! I also got my rhogam shot today (I am rh negative) in the booty...OUCH. That stuff is thick! Not a whole lot has seemed to change since I transitioned into my 3rd trimester. I can tell Ezekiel is getting bigger and stronger and he is still measuring a little big, about a week ahead! His most active time of the day is between 9pm and midnight, which I am sure will not change when he is born. I have been looking into water births and really think I am going to end up choosing a water birth! If anyone has any experience with them, let me know! Here is my 28 week picture (7 months!).

Baby post!

Still feeling pretty good! Changes in my pregnancy as of the last couple of weeks are, shortness of breath is coming and going. I am getting a little bit more tired, definitely have less energy, but still a decent amount (at least enough to function)! I have a constant leg cramp in my left leg and sometimes in my right as well. Heartburn is still being called "permaburn" around here since it NEVER goes away...literally, everything gives me heartburn. I can feel Zeke moving a lot, and he is definitely getting strong. He lays really low most of the time, so I feel a lot of pressure. He always starts moving when he hears Riley's voice, it is sweet! The headaches are still hanging around, but they are totally manageable. I am so thankful that I have made it to 26 weeks and am not feeling uncomfortable yet. I know it is coming, so I am cherishing my body not being in pain all the time.

This is my 26 week picture (6 1/2 months!)

We have been working on Ezekiel's room. We still have several things to do, but it is looking great so far, I love it! Here is a sneak peak!

This is the love of my life right now!

What's behind the name?

When we knew we were having a little boy, we really felt that we wanted to pick a strong name for him. When we thought about having another baby, we really felt like we could see a boy in our family so well. We felt that with Josh's profession being a firefighter, and being gone for long periods of time, it would be great to have a boy that we could raise to take over and be the protector when daddy is gone (obviously, that will be a while from now!). We also felt that having a boy, he could help fight off all those boys we are going to have wanting to be around with his 2 sisters, one of which, is already boy crazy! We chose Ezekiel Joshua. Sometimes, this name seems too big for a tiny little baby, but he will grow into it! Ezekiel means, God will strengthen and Joshua means God saves/rescues. It just feels so fitting for the vision we have for our son and the kind of man we want him to grow up to be!

6 months!

This is me and my friend who is due 5 days before me! She is having a girl! It is so fun being pregnant with a good friend!
Man, do I look tired or what?!

I am officially 6 months pregnant! Less than 16 weeks to go (hopefully)! It is flying by. I am just now entering the "tired phase." I feel tired all. the. time. I am also starting to get back aches...not fun. I have peed myself when I sneezed twice...that is fun. Luckily I was at home both times. My pregnant brain is definitely here with me all the time as well. I am trying to keep enjoying this pregnancy, but I just feel ready to have my body back and to meet our little boy!

Look at these adorable socks that Aunt Lenzie and Uncle Andrew bought for Zeke! I love them!

Random baby stuff!

This is just a randomness of baby stuff! Right now as I sit here typing, Zeke is totally kicking my bladder over and over, it is really crazy feeling. This little guy is a mover, he moves all the time. I am starting to feel it in the middle of the night, not quite yet strong enough to KEEP me awake, but it does wake me sometimes. We had a 4D sono the other day and he would NOT stop moving around. We volunteered to let someone do training for the sonogram on us and I am sure it was quite difficult since he would not be still! She had a hard time getting the certain measurements that she was supposed to be getting...crazy boy!

We bought this cute little hat off of Etsy! I can't wait for him to wear it!

My sister sent this outfit! Is it not the cutest little thing ever!

This is the design that Josh made for the rocking horse he wants to make for Ezekiel! It will be made out of steel pipe!

These pictures are from our 4D sonogram that we had the other day! You can see his sweet little face!

22 weeks and baby blanket!

My 22 week picture! (I know I take a lot of pregnant pictures, but I didn't take a single one when I was pregnant with Aydia and now am sad about it, so I am just trying to document it as often as I think about it!)

When my mom was here, we worked on Zeke's blanket together! It is made from vintage sheets/pillowcases with a backing of corduroy! I LOVE it! My mom did most of the sewing, didn't she do a great job?!

20 weeks

We have hit the half way point! I can't believe it! It is flying by! If the second half goes by as quickly as the first half, we will practically be having a baby next month! I really feel like we just found out last month that we were having another baby! During this last week, my belly really popped out quite a bit. I had only gained 4 lbs at my 19 week check-up, but I am sure I gained more this week just by the looks of my belly! Which is fine...my midwife told me I needed to be gaining a little more, so I am sure she will be happy with me! It is so funny, because this is how it was with all 3 of my pregnancies. I looked pretty small until one day, I wake up and had popped out! I am still feeling great! I am so incredibly thankful that I feel so good. It is truly a blessing! I can feel Z moving all. the. time! He is pretty strong too so far, he has to be though, to help his daddy take care of us girls! I have been having so much fun looking around for boy stuff! It just seems so surreal! I can't wait!

My 20 week picture!

It's a boy! (Sorry Z for putting your goods on my blog, but I am just SOOOO excited!)

Profile picture! When we had our sonogram, I thought he looked like he had Josh's profile! You can't really tell in this picture, but it really did!

Look at these adorable cookies we got from some friends of ours! Such a sweet idea!

Third pregnancy

So far, with this pregnancy, I feel remarkable better than I did with my first 2. I am not very sick and I have a pretty good energy level. I finally understand why people say they enjoy being pregnant! I started feeling this baby move around 10 weeks. I know it is early, but when you know what it feels like, you know! This baby moves all. the. time. When we had our sonogram, the lady trying to get measurements had a hard time getting them. She actually said these words, "I have never had such an uncooperative baby before! This one is just moving all over the place!" At one point, she was trying to get a measurement of the baby's head and said, "Come on baby, just move your head down just a little bit." Exactly after she said that, the baby looked up, as if it was like, "what did you say to me?!" I was cracking up. At about 17 weeks, Josh felt the baby move! My appetite with this baby is not very big. I eat just about what I did before I was pregnant, some days, less. This is crazy to me, because with the girls, I was SO hungry, it was a "if I don't eat now, I will throw up" sort of hungry. I had a lot of heartburn for a couple of months, but that has seemed to get remarkably better. I am really loving being pregnant this time around! I hope that will continue! I am so thankful to God for allowing me to feel good with this pregnancy. When Josh and I were talking to God about if he wanted us to have another baby or not, I just kept asking God that I would feel good with the pregnancy and that I would be able to care for the girls the way that I needed to. He answered my prayer! I am so thankful. We find out tomorrow if this baby is a boy or girl and I can't wait! We have our guess, but what is yours?

Is it a girl or a boy? What's your guess?!

This pic was at 17 weeks!

These are sono pics that we had done around 16 weeks!

On Friday we have our sonogram to find out for sure what we are having! They had an idea at the last one, but it was still just a little early, so this one I will be 19 weeks and they will know for sure! So, what are your guesses...is it a GIRL or a BOY?!

Shopping in your closet...maternity clothes

Today, I am participating in Meredith's

I am especially excited about this because it is on Maternity Clothes...and since I am 4 months pregnant, this is something that is a big part of my life right now! Obviously, I have already been pregnant twice before this, but I gave most of my clothes away...I figured since I wasn't using them, I may as well let others who needed them get some use out of them instead of letting them sit in a box in my attic. Because of this, I am able to get all new clothes this time around! I have friends that have let me borrow A LOT of their stuff (thank you so much!), but they are still new to me! Here are a few of my fav's right now that I have bought!

The day I found out I was pregnant, I saw this dress at Target. My wonderful Josh let me buy it, even though it was more than I would normally spend on a dress, as a congratulations gift! Isn't he sweet! I will honestly probably wear this one more when I am not pregnant...no one has to know right?!

This shirt, my mom made for me to tell Josh's fam that we were expecting baby #3!

...as you may recall, it used to look like this...(I just took the #3 and arrow part off!)

These next 2 are some of my new fav's as well! They are from Ross, $8 each! I love that they are quite baggy, so I can grow into them and wear them most of the time I am pregnant.

I do not like the full coverage belly bands, or the bands that are just on the bottom that go all the way around (they make me feel frumpy for some reason and they just are not comfortable to me), so I was elated when I found these shorts at Sears at 1/2 off, making them only $12! And I just love the cuffed bottom!

These jeans are my favorite find so far! I found these Chip and Pepper jeans at Ross for only $15! Originally, they were $180 jeans...what a steal! They are a little big for me, so I have to wear my bella band over them to hold them up, but I am sure in a few months, they will fit just right! Again, they only have the band in the front, which only goes up to about my belly button!

Second trimester...

Well, I am officially in my second trimester! This is pretty exciting! I am 14 weeks (and 3 days)! I have been feeling ok. I have the occasional throwing up, but NOTHING as bad as I did with the girls. That is a blessing, let me tell you. As we were deciding to have another baby or not, and I was talking to God about it, my prayer was always that I would not be so sick that I could not care for the girls like I needed to. It was extremely difficult when I was pregnant with Aydia to take care of my baby Riley because I was sooo sick. I have what I have labeled as "perma-heartburt." It never goes away. I also have headaches pretty much everyday. They are not that bad though, I have dealt with migraines for over 10 years, so a little headache is manageable to me...still annoying though!

Week 13 was a bit rough for me...I had the stomach flu (along with the other 3 members of our family). For 4 days, I could not eat anything...I wanted to eat, but my stomach was just rejecting it the second it got there. As a result, you will notice in my pictures that I now at 14 weeks, look smaller than I did at 12 weeks...which really is ok with me! (I am definitely showing a lot quicker than I did with the girls, which I guess is expected when you are on your 3rd pregnancy. It is as if my body just said, "Oh, this again, here we go!")

More baby news!

Well, as I said in my last post, my tentative due date is Feb 20! As my mom commented on my last post, this will give us all our birthdays 5 months in a row...Feb (baby), March (Ri), April (Ayders), May (Josh), and June (Me)! Funny how that worked out!

This shirt my mom did for me, it was how we told Josh's family I was having another baby! We didn't even tell them that we were trying, so they were surprised! It was fun, I just showed up at Abuelo's wearing this shirt.

This is my first belly pic...this is me at 10 weeks. It is crazy how with the 3rd, things just start growing quicker! Oh well, I am still in my regular pants (doing the rubber band trick!) and have gained 5 pounds so far. I was shocked, but everyone else says that is not bad at all!

Exciting News...

Baby #3 is on it's way! I know a lot of you know, but I just wanted to document it on my blog. I went to my first appointment today! It took a while, but we got to hear the baby's heart beat...amazing! I am 10 weeks pregnant today. My tentative due date is Feb 20...they will get a more accurate one at 20 weeks when we do our sono!
