I don't have time to have mono...

...I just don't. I am a mom and a wife, and I don't have time to be this tired and not wanting to do anything. I had mono freshman year of college and it lasted for 3 months...I fell asleep eating every day. No, I don't have time for this. My approach: Garlic pills, Echinacea, multi-vitamins, Oil of Oregano and lots of fruits and veggies! Here we go!

Riley is cracking me up these days!

Setting the stage: We are eating dinner and Riley is naked.
Riley: "Mom, do you see my whole butt?"
Me: "Yes, I see your whole butt."
Riley: "It is so stinky!"

2 nights ago at dinner.
Riley: "Mom, I want you to meet my friend. Her name is Riley, she is 2 1/2."

Where does she come up with this stuff!

October Activities...so far!

Well, October has been fun! For one, it is pretty much the first month in YEARS (I am not joking!) that we have had money to do anything fun! We have been able to go out to eat a couple of times and go to the fair and other things! Life is not all about money, if it was, that would suck for us the last 3 years, but it sure is fun to be able to do things!

We had a day at the Dallas Arboretum with other mommy's and kids! Here are a few pics!

What a sweet sister!

And, then they fell asleep! A quiet car is a nice car!

Riley wore panties while we were out running errands for 5 hours today and did not have an accident! It was pretty exciting! Aydia pooped in the potty while we were out today as well! She wants to be just like Riley!

Dallas water sucks. It tastes like dirt...I miss the Colorado Rocky Mountain water...

I need to do my hair for the rest of the day activities since there will be pics being taken! I hope everyone has a great weekend...and posts a comment on my blog to make me have a great weekend!

My little Aydia!

The other day, Aydia was running around the kitchen singing. I tried to catch it, but she caught me and got a little distracted. She kept singing a little bit. All that I can catch is that she is singing a song about Dora. Then the rest of the video is just her being her!

On another note, Riley and I seemed to get some sort of sickness...it felt like the flu, but didn't last as long as the flu normally does. Ri was only sick for about half a day and I was sick for 2 days and am still experiencing some symptoms. We had body aches, fevers up to 103, cold sweats, was freezing ALL the time, and a sore throat. Aydia got a fever last night and was up for a couple of hours(so I hear...Nonnie took the girls so that I could rest and get better!). She said she is doing fine today though! With Josh's job, he was able to be here Friday and Saturday to take care of us! I has about 45 minutes where I was waiting for him to be home on Friday morning and at that moment, I truly appreciated the hours of his job! As soon as he drove up, the girls and I went out to greet him and I just started crying because I felt so sick. Ugh, so not fun. Anyways, he is at work today and the girls are at their Nonnie's house for the day, so I am ALONE!!! The last time I was totally alone was when Aydia was 2 months old! Everyone needs some alone time now and then!

Successful Sunday!

So, I think I have mentioned this before on my blog, but Aydia absolutely HATES childcare. She learned that if she made herself throw up on Sunday's in the toddler class, they would come and get me and then would get to hang out with me through the remainder of the service. So, after a few times of this, I asked my friends working in the toddler class NOT to come get me because that is why she was doing it. This morning, I dropped her off and she cried as normal, then I waited a minute and peeked in and she had stopped. When I came to pick the girls up, she was standing at the gate with all the rest of the kids (this has NEVER happened...someone is ALWAYS holding her!). They said she was great. She played the whole time and had a blast! I was SOOOOOOOOO excited! I think it was because Riley prayed for her in the car on the way! It was one of the sweetest things ever. She first said to Aydia, "Aydia, remember, no frowing up, and no crying, just playing" Then she said, "God, help Aydia not to frow up and just to have fun!" The Lord answered her prayer! We will see how long this lasts! Everyday is a new day!

So, we had some milestones at our house this week. Riley pooped on the potty...twice! And Aydia is not paci free! We forgot it one day and just laid her down with-out it...so we just took it away!

We have a busy week ahead of us...pics to come!
