Life...

I said I would put up pics, so here they are.
These are of the wedding that Ri and I were in back when we went to CO. Riley was a flower girl. She was adorable and walked down the aisle so well! She absolutley loved it too! She called the dress that she wore her, "wedding dress" and to this day talks about when she got married. When we ask her who she married, she just shrugs her shoulders.

This next one is on Aydia saying, "cheese" to the camera. Everytime you say the word picture, she bends down and says, "cheese" and squints her face up. It is pretty freakin cute!

Josh and I just had our 3rd wedding anniversary (I know, 3 years and 2 kids...crazy!). We went to Outback, where we go every year and then went to play miniature golf, not something we do every year. It was really fun! We don't get to do very much these days, so it was fun to do something fun! Thanks mom and dad!

So, there they are, as I promised!

I can't believe it is July tomorrow. Time seems like it has been flying by the last couple of months...I wonder why?! I guess time flys when you have a 1 year old and a 2 year old.
I took Riley swimming today while Aydia was having her morning nap and we had so much fun! I always try to make special time for each of the girls while the other one is napping, but for some reason today, I had a lot of fun with Riley. She was being hilarious! She is always funny, but I guess she was in an extra goofy mood today! I am trying to think of some things she did today, but I can't!
Both of the girls let me rock them for like 10 minutes tonight before bed. It is rare to get one of the girls to be still long enough to hold them, but definitely not BOTH of them! I was loving it!
Here are some of the things the girls have been doing lately for those of you who like to know that stuff!
Riley is very into emotions. She is always trying to figure out how you are feeling and why. She is always asking, "Mommy, are you mad? Are you happy? Are you fusterated?" she makes faces for each emotion that is pretty funny! She loves movies still! She is starting to enjoy pretending to bake things. She makes cakes and coffee and dinner very often and brings it to me to enjoy! She loves to catch fake butterflies. She loves to take naps in my bed...I wish I could nap with her, but that is just too distracting to her. She is very polite these days, always saying please and thank you and sorry and wanting to help and telling you that you look pretty. She loves girly things like dresses, make-up, fixing hair and painting her nails. Tonight she looked at Aydia and said, "Mommy, Aydia looks really beautiful!" and then she rubbed Aydia's head. I love to watch them interact...especially when it is sweet like that! She always wants to hold Aydia's hand...Aydia does NOT want to hold hands, unless it is to sing Ring Around the Rosies. So, that is a little bit about Ri.
Aydia is SUPER busy. She is always moving. She is talking a ton. She is starting to say 3 word sentences like, "Up, mommy, please" or "I see daddy". She is starting to finally listen a little bit and therefore I can teach her things, we are learning our body parts. She knows eyes, ears, mouth, and belly button. She can answer you yes or no...and know what she is answering. She is still throwing tantrums like crazy...I would say probably about every 10 minutes...you think I am exagerating, but I am not! She can be the sweetest, cutest little thing and then suddenly, she is throwing a tantrum, she is even cute when she throws a tantrum though! She is a fireball! She definitely lets you know what she wants and doesn't want and HATES it when she does not get her way. Aydia has taught me patience! She loves her sleep and wants to be in bed when she is tired...not to be held! She enjoys reading books and coloring and then taking a bite out of the crayon. She loves to eat and will pretty much eat anything. She also loves juice and prefers it over any drink out there (Riley's is chocolate milk). It is amazing to me how different the girls are from eachother. They are total opposites. Everything that worked on Riley, doesn't work for Aydia and I totally had to relearn how to do everything. It is pretty crazy! It is fun though! We love them!
Have a good one and bring on those comments...even if I don't know you...I know you are reading!

How much older is Aydia than Scarlett? I guess I mean, how many months is she? but that just doesn't sound grammatically correct. They DO sound so much alike. I am no stranger to the temper tantrums and I know exactly what you mean about her teaching you patience! I don't know how you do it with TWO! but you make it sound like a lot of fun :)
