"Daddy, it's your turn."

Yesterday was quite an interesting day! On Tuesday night, I was up most of the night with Aydia because of some teething pain we think she is having, so yesterday I was really tired. I decided it was a sweat pants and movie day, well, about noon I came down with a pretty wicked migraine...one of the worst ones I have had in a long time. Because I was tired and had a headache, I asked Josh to pick up Taco Bueno for lunch on his way home for him, Riley, and me. We ate it and then I went to bed. A couple of hours later, I woke up sick to my stomach and was sick for about 2 hours. About 9pm I began to feel much better, but then Josh starts saying that his stomach is starting to hurt. It wasn't 10 minutes later that we heard some weird noises over the monitor in Riley's room. I rush in there, because it just did not sound right, to find her covered in her own throw up. I pick her up and rush her to the bathroom and tell her to aim at the toilet. Meanwhile, Josh is running down the stairs to another bathroom to throw up. They split something for lunch from Bueno and I only had a couple of bites, so that is why I did not have it as bad, but they continued to throw up until 1:30 in the morning and then Riley once more at 3am. She is the toughest little girl I have ever met. As I am holding her hair back and she is over the toilet she says, "thank you, mommy" and says it after everything I do for her; wipe her mouth, put her hair in a ponytail, hold her, give her water...and so on. It was so sweet. Well, at one point, her and Josh were in the same bathroom basically taking turns over the toilet. She threw up and then looked at Josh and said, "Daddy, it's your turn!" Then when he was all done, she says, "good job, daddy!" Oh my goodness, how sweet! I guess she is beginning to understand taking turns...we have been working on that one with her and what a hilarious time for it to come out! Anyways, she did not freak out one single time, she didn't even cry. She did everything we told her to and said thank you after it! It was so hard seeing her so sick though. Luckily, there hs been no more throw up and they are laying on the couch togeter.
Anyways, I just had to share what our night was like!

I like this story. You could send this into a magazine. I'm sorry everyone was so sick. That doesn't sound fun at all but what an amazing kid you guys have, Proof that you're raising some GREAT kids! Congrats and get better!
