BBQ!

We had a BBQ at our house in the front yard for a bday celebration/meet your neighbors! It was really fun and we had some neighbors come too, so that was awesome!

I chopped it off!

I was unhappy with the way my hair looked as it was growing out, so one night at 10:00 pm, I grabbed that hair scissors and chopped it! It only took me 30 min too!

Beer Bread

This is one of our new favorite things to make! It is oh so tasty to eat and oh so easy to make!
The ingredients

Mix it all up

Put it in a pan

Bake it

Cut it and eat it!


Mmmmm, have some in the oven right now! I can't wait to sink my teeth into it!

3 C Flour
1/2 C brown sugar
3 T melted butter
1 T baking soda
1 can beer

Mix all together and bake at 375 degrees until golden brown! If anyone tries it, let me know what you think!

Mother's Day!

To my sweet girls,
I am so happy that God chose me to be your mom! You 2 are what make my days blissful! I love you both so much! I am so lucky to get to spend everyday with you!

You girls and daddy took me to Johnny Carino's for dinner last night to celebrate today!

Wordless Wednesday...

Riley's first chores...

Riley has her first chores! She LOVES to help me fold laundry! She folds all the wash cloths and cloth wipes for me, and she does a great job! I am sure someday she will not be as enthusiastic about helping me fold laundry, she will wonder why at the age of 3 she offered to help in the first place!




This is how Aydia helps...all this laundry was on the couch!


Riley also helps out around the house by feeding the dog!
